Targeted Amex Offer. Eligible American Express cardholders can save $75 on Hyatt stays of $300 or more, with a $75 statement credit posting after the qualifying spend. Offer ends June 30, 2026.
The offer
Spend $300 or more on a single eligible Hyatt purchase using an Amex card with the offer added; receive a $75 statement credit. The promotion is targeted, which means American Express decides which cardholders see it — log in to each Amex account and check the Offers tab to see whether yours qualifies. Eligible Amex cards span the lineup, from no-fee products (Blue Cash Everyday, Cash Magnet) to the premium tier (Platinum, Gold, Business Platinum).
Eligible Hyatt brands cover most of the portfolio: Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Centric, Grand Hyatt, and Destination by Hyatt. Standalone restaurant or spa charges that aren't billed to your room don't count. Gift card purchases don't count. World of Hyatt point purchases don't count.
How to use it
Add the offer to your Amex account before booking. Reserve directly through Hyatt.com or the World of Hyatt app — third-party booking sites typically don't trigger the credit. At checkout, charge eligible room and folio expenses to the room and pay the bill with the enrolled Amex card. The $75 credit posts within roughly six weeks.
The simplest stack: book a paid two-night stay at a Hyatt House or Hyatt Place where rates often run $150 to $200 per night, hit $300 with no padding, get the $75 credit. That's a 25 percent discount before any World of Hyatt elite benefits layer on top.
Why it matters
The offer counts only at full spend on a single transaction, so the value lands cleanest on a single multi-night paid stay rather than a one-night $300 booking that doesn't typically exist outside top-category urban properties. Run the spend math against a points redemption before booking — if a comparable points redemption would run 8,000 to 12,000 World of Hyatt points and the cash rate after the $75 credit is $225 net, points are worth roughly 1.9 cents each in this comparison, which is competitive with Hyatt's typical 1.7 to 2.0 cpp transfer-partner valuation.
The targeting is the catch. Roughly half of eligible Amex cardholders see the offer; the other half don't. If you have multiple Amex cards, check each — the offer can be added to one card per account.
Bottom line
If you have a Hyatt stay between now and June 30, 2026, and the offer's loaded on at least one of your Amex cards, take it. The $75 credit on $300 of spend is one of the cleaner Hyatt offers Amex has run this year. Apply it to a stay you'd take anyway; don't construct a stay around it.
